Tax Season and Identity Theft: What You Need to Know

Unless you get an extension, taxes are due on April 18th. April 15th is usually the date people think of, but this year April 15th is on a Saturday. Tax season usually brings a rise in identity theft cases and scams. Be careful with your personal information and be skeptical of phonecalls, letters, or emails from people claiming to be the IRS or other organizations.
